મોરનું અભિયારણ | Sanctuary of Indian Peafowl by PrakrutiParichay

સલીમ અલી sir ના જન્મદિવસે આપણે બધાને અમદાવાદની એક નવી જગ્યા લઈજવ, મારા મતે પ્રમાણે આ જગ્યા "મોર નું અભિયારણ" છે. આ જગ્યા શાહીબાગમાં હાજીપુરા બગીચાની પાસે Musa Suhag Dargah આવી છે, ચારેકોર નિરવ શાંતિ એવું લગેજ નહિ કે તમે અમદાવાદમાં છો, આ અનુકૂળ વાતાવરણના કારણે પંખીઓ ખાસ કરી ને મોર ની સંખ્યા ઝાઝી જોવા મળે છે.
એવું નથી કે અહીં લોકો આવતાજ નથી પણ થોડા આવે પોતાના લોકોને યાદ કરી ને જાય એ પહેલા પાણી અચૂક ભરે ચારેબાજુ, જેથી કરીને પંખીઓ ને દૂર પાણી શોધવું ના પડે. અહીં પંખીઓ ને જોઈતી દરેક વસ્તુ અહીં મળે છે એકાંત, ખાવાનું, પીવાનું અને સુરક્ષા + સફાઈ એકદમ મફ્ત તો એમને ગંદી વસ્તુઓ ખાવી ના પડે.
હા સમજુ છું કે અમુક લોકોને અહીં આવતા ડર પણ લાગે પણ અહીં ડરવા જેવી વાત નથી ઉપરથી તમે ખુશ થઇ જશો એ પાક્કુ. મોર ઢેલ ને કેવી રિઝાવે છે એ જોવા મળે જેમ માણસ પોતાના રૂપિયા,વસ્તુઓ, વિચારો કે બુદ્ધિ થી રિઝાવે એવીજ રીતે આ ભાઈ મસ્ત પોતાના લાંબા પીંછા બતાવી મીઠો અવાજ કરી ને ઢેલ ને ખુશ કરે. હું એક વસ્તુ ઉમેરવા માંગુ છું કે ઢેલ મોર ના આંશુ પી ને ઈંડા મૂકે એ તો એકદમ વાહિયાત માન્યતા છે આ બંને પણ બીજા બધા પંખી જેમજ એકદમ normal છે કોઈજ જાદુ નથી કરતા :-). વધુમાં અહીં મોટો સોનેરી લક્કડખોદ(Greater Flameback) જોવા મળ્યો અને આજુબાજુ ફરતા નાના નાના નોળીયા(Mongoose) એની માં સાથે મસ્તી કરતા હૉય આવું બધુજ કોઈ એક જગ્યા મળી રહે તો કેમ આપણે અહીં ના આવીયે ? બોલો દોસ્ત એકવાર અહીં આવશોને ?
On Birthday of Salim Ali sir, let's check out a place in Ahmedabad that i personally consider a "Peacock Sanctuary". It's in Shahibag Near Hajipura Garden, it's called "Musa suhag Dargah". Silent peace all around , you won't feel like you're in Ahmedabad. Because of this favourable atmosphere you can see lots of birds especially Peacock.
It is not that people don't come here, they do but very rarely and they leave after spending few moments remembering their own people. But before they leave they fill water for the birds around. Here all the things that the birds want can be found Solitude, food, water, safety and sanitation totally free. it's very healthy for them they do not have to eat dirty things.
Yes, I understand that some people are afraid to come here but there is nothing to fear here, i guarantee you'll be much happy to be here. Just like a man trying to impress a woman from his wealth, things, thoughts or intellect, Peacocks shows long feathers and makes sweetest voice to impress Peahens. One thing I want to add is that it is a very absurd belief that they reproduce using their tears, they are just as normal as other birds, they don't do such miracles. In addition, i also saw The Great Flameback. and little Mongooses playing with their mother. All of this can be found in one place then why don't people come here ?. Tell me Friends, won't you visit this heavenly place ?
